Singapore to launch 1,200 BTO flats in Toa Payoh and Sin Ming with under 3-year wait times

National Development Minister Chee Hong Tat announced on August 30 that about 1,200 new BTO flats will be launched across two developments in Toa Payoh and Sin Ming, each with waiting times of less than three years. He described the move as part of efforts to "sustain a robust housing supply, while injecting new housing into existing towns and rejuvenating these areas." The announcement follows the June 2026 launch of 1,600 new homes across three projects in the Lakeview and Shunfu area.
