From 29 June 2026, Singapore's newly established Online Safety Commission (OSC), set up under the Online Safety (Relief and Accountability) Act 2025, will help victims of five categories of online harm: online harassment, doxxing, online stalking, intimate image abuse, and image-based child abuse. The commission's scope will gradually expand to cover all 13 categories of online harms under the law, including online impersonation and inauthentic material abuse. Singapore thereby becomes one of the few countries with a dedicated government agency for online harm victims.
